Reasons People Fail in Network Marketing | Part 2
Another Reason People Fail in Network Marketing is because they Allow Fear to Paralyze Them
Them: “You’re not in one of THOSE
things are you?”
You: “Well, um, I’m
just testing the waters. Doesn’t really seem to be working. I won’t ask you
again. Sorry.”
Fear can be paralyzing. I know because I have let it control
so much of my life.
Fear is …
· - Being concerned about what others might
think about you.
· - Wondering if they may think you’re not normal
when it comes to earning money. You know, the only way to “normally” make money
is to get a job and trade your time for money like they do.
· - Wondering if they are laughing at you behind your
back.
· - Wondering if they think you have an ulterior
motive for commenting on a post they shared.
· - Wondering …
I love what Ray Higdon says about fearing what others might think about him. He said ...
I don’t care what they think nor am I looking for their approval. I know why I am doing this!
Here’s my perspective: If normal people think that fighting traffic, punching a clock, sitting in a cubicle, framing houses, plumbing toilets, answering phones and emails, etc. IS “normal,” then I think they are abnormal.
Robert Kyosaki said this as it relates to working -- “I want
my freedom.” So do I. So do you. I’m willing to be abnormal in order to avoid
their version of normal.
And I’ve got VERY good news for you. If you are afraid of
talking to friends and family about your products or opportunity, then don’t.
There isn’t a law that says that you have to, regardless of what your upline
tells you.
You can market online via social media to people you don’t
know and won’t be concerned about what they might think of you. This may be a
slower road but at least we have that option.
Today, we live in the AI world (Artificial Intelligence).
But I define AI for the network marketers as Activity
and Influence.
You will find success by consistently taking daily ACTIONS
that are designed to INFLUENCE others.
Those actions are up to you. My actions may not be yours.
I know plenty of people who aren’t bothered at all by talking
to friends, family, or even strangers about their business. I also know
successful people who avoid that approach like the plague and only use social
media approaches.
You can also use what’s known as Attraction Marketing. This
approach is purposed to get people to come to you with questions about your
business opportunity rather than you looking for them.
This e-book is an example of attraction marketing. My purpose
in writing it is to tell you the top reasons why people fail in network
marketing. It may, however, also cause you to want to know more about what I’m
involved in.
The idea is do … whatever
works for you! Just don’t let what other people think be of concern to you.
